The Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS) Working Group on Calibration and Validation (WGCV), SAR Subgroup, Synthetic Aperture Radar Workshop 2022 (CEOS SAR WGCV 2022) will be held at the Canadian Space Agency Headquarter's Conference Centre, from October 18 to 21, 2022. The workshop will be an in-person event.

The Workshop's objective is to provide an open forum for the presentation and discussion of current and future issues related to the calibration and validation of space borne SAR sensors and data products.

There is no registration fee. Registration to the Workshop can be made through an email to the Workshop secretariat at: CEOSSAR_2022@asc-csa.gc.ca before registration closes on September 26, 2022.
When registering, please provide the following information:
- Name: non-Canadian participants must provide their full name, date of birth, country of origin and passport number at the time of their registration. Passport will be required to access the CSA premises;
- Address;
- Organization;
- Indicate whether you plan to submit an abstract and give a presentation;
- At any time after your registration, please notify us if you need to cancel your participation.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Those willing to contribute to the Workshop through a presentation are required to submit an abstract of the intended topic, which will be reviewed by the Workshop's science committee. Contributors will then be notified of the acceptance of their contribution for a presentation at the Workshop. Abstract will be used to finalize the Workshop's program.
The abstract should:
- Be written in English;
- Not exceed one page, in letter (8.5 X 11 inch) or A4 format;
- Include a header with the following:
- Title;
- Name(s) of author(s) [please indicate last name in capital letters];
- Institutional affiliation;
- Complete mailing address;
- Underline the name of the corresponding author;
- In bold, indicate the name of the presenting author;
- Email address of corresponding author.

Please arrive on Tuesday October 18 no later than 8:45 am.
Every morning, upon arriving at the CSA headquarters:
- If you are coming by bus: Proceed to the visitor's entrance by foot (left side of the guard station when facing it), and tell the guards that you are a participant to the CEOS SAR Workshop. You will need a photo ID to access the premises.
- If you are coming by car or taxi/ride share service: Proceed to the visitor's entrance by car (leftmost lane, by the guard station), and tell the guards that the passengers of the vehicle are participants to the CEOS SAR Workshop. Each passenger will need a photo ID to access the site. If coming by car, you will be directed to a parking lot area.
Then proceed to the main entrance (the large rotunda). Inside the Rotunda, you will be directed to the CEOS SAR WGCV Workshop registration table. At this point, passport will be required for foreign nationals.
