Definition

The individual items making up a complete Earth Observation data set to be preserved, including data records, and the associated knowledge, i.e. information, and tools. Preserving the complete PDSC ensures long term data usability and understandability. The composition of required items varies by data category (SAR, optical, atmospheric) and should be tailored to satisfy the designated community and preservation objective.
