Definition
The dissemination function delivers the final product to the user, by means of physical media, electronic distribution (e.g. ftp-push) or electronic server access (e.g. ftp-pull). Therefore, dissemination is concerned with the preparation of the delivery media in case of offline delivery and the management of online access.
