Definition

The DMP describes how the program will manage the scientific data generated and captured by the operational mission(s). The DMP also includes descriptions of how data will be generated, processed, distributed, analyzed, and archived. ; A Data Management Plan (DMP) describes data that will be acquired or produced during project development; how the data will be managed, described and stored, what standards you will use, and how data will be handled and protected during and after the completion of the project
