As for ACIX-II Aqua, the focus was mainly on analysing two parameters representing the overall error and bias in the target quantities (Pahlevan et al., 2021). These parameters are calculated as follows:

In the equations, 𝑥𝑖 and y𝑖 are the sensors-estimated Rrs data and in situ measurements, respectively.

In addition, other common metrics were computed: Root Mean Square Difference (RMSD); Mean bias; Mean Absolute Difference (MAD); Spectral Angle (SA); Mean Absolute Percentage Difference (MAPD).
