1) Hollin Hill

6) Glasgow (GSW) - two corner reflectors
Target ID – GSW1 (the active reflector) and GSW2 (the passive reflector)
Latitude, Longitude: 55.839393, -4.199945 for GSW1; 55.836119, -4.19957 for GSW2
For the active reflector (GSW1), these are the specs:.

  • Configured for track 30 of the ascending geometry and track 52 of the descending geometry of Sentinel-1.
  • VV channel polarisation
  • The size of the active reflector is 0.6m x 0.4m
  • perforations (if any) size and density: the reflector has been bolted to a concrete platform with four 10 cm long screws.

For the passive reflector (GSW2), these are the specs:

  • Compass heading of bottom panels: 350 degrees from the North for the all of them (oriented towards the ascending LOS).
  • Inclination: 25 degree from the horizontal surface.
  • Size of each side: 0.7m.
  • Open side facing: west for all of the (oriented towards the ascending LOS).
  • Type: trihedral
  • perforations (if any) size and density: the reflector has been bolted to a concrete platform with four 10 cm long screws.
