METRIC Data

The METRIC dataset is used by CNES for the calibration of MERIS L1b data. The files are derived from MERIS L1b subsets over dedicated ground sites.

Processing has been applied to ensure a consistent dataset:

• Cloud-screening
• Aerosol screening
• Averaging

The files are stored in HDF4 file format.

The dataset is available for download, categorized by calibration purpose and by site
